About Us

Hi, I'm Kerri Hall founder of MicMag by me. I have over 25 years experience in the furniture industry.  I have a lifelong affiliation as my dad has always worked in the furniture industry.  As a young girl, I played in furniture factories, got postcards and gifts as my father traveled the world and we also had the opportunity to go to the various showrooms during furniture market to see my dad.  This personal exposure led me to pursue "Furniture" as a profession.  My first job in the industry was a National Accounts Manager for Rowe Furniture.  I had one of the largest territories and responsibilities for the company. I lived both in Florida as well as had an apartment in Chicago.  I moved back to North Carolina in the late 1990's.  I took a position with my parents' import company. I designed and manufactured products for some of the largest US furniture companies that were seeking to reduce their costs by off shoring their products.  I did this for about 6 years.  In 2005, upon my parent's retirement, I opened my own company.  For many years, things went well.  I was very successful from a business standpoint.
About 3 years ago, I was blindsided by a series of events that disrupted the way I conducted my company.  I did a lot of soul searching and once I got back up, brushed the disasters off; I decided to continue on in the Furniture Industry, but in a whole new way.
So instead of selling to a US company, who then sells to a retailer, who then sells to you, the consumer.....I decided to disrupt this process and built a product line I can ship right to the consumer. You can buy heirloom quality, customizable, trend forward furniture designed and hand made in North Carolina shipped to your home and assembled in minutes.

We are real furniture...real easy..... real you!
